iOn source codes and SDK released
Following the release of the iLiad source codes we release today the source codes and SDK of the iOn platform on which the iRex Digital Reader 1000 series is based.
This includes all the sources except for the Mobipocket Plugin and the UDS Core. The UDS or Universal Document Shell is a universal document viewer framework with a set of features to which additional rendering engines can be attached as plugins. This allows third party developers to easily add support for additional formats without the need to create a customer interface or features.
The SDK is based on the Poky Linux
distribution and the OpenEmbedded build environment. You can find more details here Dance Flick
.
You can find both the source codes and SDK here.
Happy coding !
