In the spirit of best practice, our doctrine is inspired by those of blogs like Channel 9, Direct2Dell and the Official Google Blog.
Rules of Engagement for i to i Readers
1. i to i is about the conversation. We encourage you to speak in an honest, informal voice and engage in a candid dialog that can help us learn from each other. We will listen, as well as post, and ensure we engage in two-way conversations.
2. Always be respectful. Regardless of the situation. We expected from all involved in the blog conversations to engage in a civil dialog and remain respectful. We’ll remove any comments that are spam, vulgar, inappropriate use profanity or are defamatory in anyway.

3. i to i will be written by a range of iRex employees. This is a place for us to share what we think about issues important to our customers, business and the industry.
4. i to i is a place where we intend to learn and improve by listening to you. We welcome your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and of course, criticisms. We may not always agree, but we will listen closely to see what we can learn and where we can improve.

We will acknowledge and correct mistakes promptly, preserve the original post, using notations to show where we made the changes so as to maintain the integrity of our writing.
6. We will not hesitate to take on tough and/or sensitive issues, but we will do this in a measured, thoughtful fashion and sometimes that might take a little more time.
7. We might be quiet sometimes. There are some topics we just can’t discuss on i to i. This has nothing to do with censorship but with working within the reality of the systems that exists in our world today. We will not discuss any legal matters, sensitive financial matters and topics unrelated to our business or industry.
